SET COURAGE FREE
There is something peculiar about Christianity, it is a fact that shocks the senses. It is simply how death brings life to those who believe. It does not track how heart-wrenching pain and back-breaking pain deepens a man’s belief. It is weird as to how goodness now shines brighter in such moments. A cynic would call it a petty coping mechanism or delusions of grandeur, but things like that cannot bring such transformation; where tremendous strength wells up within the Christian.
You look into their eyes and you see that the pain is still there but behind that there’s a glimmer shining ever brighter, many call it “hope” but I choose to call it JESUS. Obviously, they are one and the same, HE is the hope that promises that from death life can begin freshly. In fact, HE represents that very reality, as to how a man can be broken in every possible way yet still believe, yet still be kind, yet still offer salvation to those who are the enactors of HIS suffering.
It is why consistently I am convinced that the believer cannot be destroyed. It doesn’t track that he/she will be, because suffering always does a good work within. Trouble rises up like a storm and you run for refuge to the one whom you’ve called home before, GOD the Creator of the universe, the one who exists before time itself, and this running isn’t cowardice.
Can you believe it? This running for refuge is not cowardice, in fact, it is strength, where we run into HIS arms and gbam! HIS magnificence dawns upon us once more and we rejoice because what can match up?!
NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
The death that lay without cannot do anything to the life within, tribulation cannot swallow HIM up and we are hidden in CHRIST IN HIM. Suddenly the miraculous becomes attainable, courage is set free and you see men and women sing praises to GOD as they are killed for what they believe.
COURAGE IS SET FREE!
For the believer when trouble comes, courage is set free. The courage to believe for greater things, the courage to wait and stay still, the courage to do everything and anything required to surmount the problem and even if death comes within it, nothing is lost because there is a promise of a home ahead.
I have been CRUCIFIED with CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by FAITH in the SON OF GOD who LOVED me and gave HIMSELF for me.
Galatians 2:20
And nothing can take that love away, absolutely nothing and for that simple reason, I believe. Let the earth be removed and it’s foundations turned to dust, I will still believe because nothing can take away that love from you or me.
So believe
Wherever you are, let courage be set free and believe. Praise GOD forevermore
CHILD OF GOD! REJOICE! YOU CANNOT BE DESTROYED.
